1- What warranty do your installations carry?
All auto, truck, ATV, and marine installations carry a mobile LIFETIME warranty unless otherwise noted before installation.

2- What is the mobile lifetime warranty?
The mobile lifetime warranty was created to offer you, the client more peace of mind and confidence than ever before from a warranty program. If your newly installed equipment fails due to installation, we travel to the location where the equipment was initially installed and repair it for free. No more dropping off your vehicle or waiting in unsightly shops for repairs. And marine service couldn’t be any easier. Simply leave your keys with the dock master or in the vessel and we’ll take care of the rest and we’ll call you when the repair is complete. This warranty is complimentary with every installation for as long as you own the vehicle or vessel.

3- My vehicle is a lease, will I be able to install the electronics I want without permanently altering the vehicle?
Absolutely, part of what sets Visionary Motoring apart is our ability to seamlessly integrate aftermarket accessories in a way that is completely reversible in most cases. We understand that whether your vehicle is a classic, imported exotic, or lease, you don’t want to drill any unsightly holes or reduce its value by altering its appearance, so we’ve developed a unique installation process to aid in the reversal of these installations so you can keep the value up or not pay the dealer for altered pieces. This is one of the main reasons why exotic car dealerships and collectors choose Visionary Motoring over the competition.

4- What kind of wires should I use to hook up my marine audio system?

When choosing wire for any kind of application on your boat, make sure the wire is stranded, at the very least, and tinned, if at all possible. According to the ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council), only stranded copper wire is acceptable for marine wiring applications. Other metals, such as aluminum and steel, corrode too quickly and can't withstand the constant vibrations of a boat in motion. A thin coating of tin (or solder) applied to copper can further enhance the copper's resistance to corrosion, creating the longest-lasting wiring material you can put on your boat.

Other things to take into consideration include the necessary gauge of the wire. SAE-rated wire (Society of Automotive Engineers) often has a smaller diameter than AWG-rated wire (American Wire Gauge), even though the two wires may be labeled the same gauge. AWG-size cables better suit marine applications, especially those labeled "boat cable" on the insulation. You'll also find "type" cables, which tell you how many strands are found in each wire. A Type 1 cable, for example, is either a single solid strand or just a few strands. You should not use Type 1 cables for boat applications. Type 2 wires have anywhere from 19 strands to 127 strands, depending on the gauge, in this case running from 16-gauge down to 0-gauge. Type 2 wires can be used for any general purpose wiring job on your boat, such as for wiring speakers. Type 3 cables have considerably more stranding than Type 2. For the same gauge range (16-0), Type 3 wires may include 26-1,064 strands. You should use Type 3 wires for applications that will require a lot of bending, flexing, or jostling, as the more strands a wire has, the longer it will last with frequent flexing.

5- Is there anything that can void my warranty?
Although we pride ourselves with providing unmatched craftsmanship and quality, there are ways to void your lifetime warranty. For instance, a client may opt to receive a “quick fix” instead of a permanent one and use subpar hardware or wiring in order to save some money because they do not intend to keep the vehicle or boat for more than a year or so. In this instance we would determine the warranty on a case by case basis prior to performing the installation. Tampering or altering the installation in any way will also void the warranty. If there are any questions you have regarding our warranty, please feel free to call, text, or write us with your concern and we will make sure to answer you asap.

6- I take my boat out frequently, but I hardly have the time to perform the proper maintenance my electronics require, do you
    offer a maintenance program?
Yes we do. Our maintenance program is highly affordable and convenient and to top it all off, it guarantees that the equipment you invest in will last for years to come. If you opt for the maintenance program, your warranty will never be void due to negligence. Every three months we will visit your vessel and apply an anti-corrosive layer to all connections. We will also clean all installed equipment and check the integrity of all areas where silicone is used. We will do a complete sweep of the entire installation and make sure that its appearance and performance continues to exceed even your highest expectations. For more info on our maintenance program and pricing, please drop us a line or speak with one of our engineers via email or phone.

We offer warranty matching, mobile service, and we are certified and licensed by the county so you can have the utmost confidence when working with us to exceed your client’s needs and expectations. Visionary Motoring places a heavy emphasis on quick turnaround, profitability, and reliability. For information on establishing a dealer account please give us a call or send over any concerns you may have via email.

8- How far offshore can I get satellite radio?
You can get clear reception up to 200 miles offshore, or more depending on where you are. Keep in mind that satellite radio is currently only available in the United States, except for Alaska and Hawaii, including its domestic and coastal waterways. Crossover into parts of Canada and Mexico occur near the border, but in general, coverage is like a big oval placed over a map of the US, where the ends of the oval protrude into the Atlantic and Pacific. Traveling near the 40th parallel will probably yield the most offshore coverage

9- My new vehicle comes from factory with navigation and a screen but no video capability, can you guys add an iPOD to my existing screen?
Yes we can and thanks for asking. Whether you’re driving a Lexus, Benz, or Beamer, we can interface a dvd player, gaming console, or better yet your iPOD, to your factory screen as if it were meant to be.

10- I want to upgrade my factory to radio to an aftermarket one, but my steering wheel has audio controls, will those be affected by change?
Yes and no. With a vehicle specific adapter, you’ll be able to maintain most of your steering wheel controls and operate your new unit just as you would your factory unit. However, dual function buttons and audio information displayed on your instrument cluster may no longer be available. Every vehicle has its own DNA so give us a call if you have a question about your particular vehicle.

11- My boat takes a while to crank, could that be an electrical problem or mechanical?
It could be both. Believe it or not, something as simple as a corroded ground cable can leave your engine dead in the water. The symptoms of corroded cables are identical to that of a dead battery. If you have a concern about your boats power and starter system, we will be more than happy to schedule a visit and check it out for you and get you back in the water and cranking in no time.

12- Why are you guys so awesome?
It must be in our genes. Visionary Motoring is the brain child of a father and son team whom for over 20 years has been on the forefront of the mobile electronics industry. My father Hugo Sr. would take me along to perform installs on high end cars and ever since I had my first Power wheels, together we’ve been tricking out cars for everyone from my grandmother’s Civic to Anthony Carter’s Escalade from the Miami Heat. It’s what I was born doing and it’s what my father has been doing this whole life. We’re unstoppable, we’re the best there is, we know the industry better than anyone else, and we invite anyone who dares says otherwise to come forward and get schooled.
